WHEREVER I LAY MY HAT…

 

De repente es septiembre y sin embargo no empieza el mundo. ¿O acaso es que aún no ha finalizado? No lo sé. Mientras el prójimo se empeña en acumular cartones policromados con las primeras entregas de inverosímiles colecciones, mi tiempo se ha estancado. Finge la gente soñar con que es posible una nueva oportunidad y yo estoy aquí, absurdamente inmóvil, luciendo el sabio escepticismo del iniciado y la nunca hiperbólica esperanza cierta de quien sí de verdad conoce. Luces y sombras saludan mi piel indiferentes. No las uso: súbitamente se han convertido en científicos artificios que la física utiliza para dar profundidad a nuestras vidas, para pintar de matices la sucesión temporal que transcurre casi siempre entre paréntesis. Nada cambia en realidad aunque nos disfracemos de sonrisa. Igual necesito hacer un buen viaje.

Todo es distinto total para ser lo mismo. Hallo mi hogar allí donde deposito mi sombrero. Se admiten sugerencias.
